Ingredients for Tomato Pickles Recipe

30 lg Ripe tomatoes
4 c Granulated sugar
4 lg Onions
2 tb Salt
6 lg Pears
1 pk Mixed pickling spices, tied
6 lg Peaches

6 lg Apples
1 pt Vinegar

Tomato Pickles Preparation

Peel and chop fine the tomatoes, omions, pears, peaches and apples. Mix all ingredients and boil until thick. Pour into sterilized KERR jars and seal. Source: KERR Co. The book was so old the cover is missing. I would imagine circa 1940.
