Ingredients for Merry Mints Recipe
1/3 c Corn syrup – light
1/2 c Butter or one stick
2 tb Peppermint extract
1/4 ts Salt
1 lb Confectionery sugar
Food coloring
Merry Mints Preparation
Mix all of the ingredients except for the food coloring. Knead the candy for 10 minutes. Color while kneading the candy by adding a few drops of food coloring at a time to get the desired color. refrigerate for 2 hours. Roll out to desired thickness and cut into desired shapes.
