1/2 c Shortening
2 Eggs
1 c Pecans
1 ts Vanilla
1 ts Baking powder
1 c Sugar
2 c Dates; chopped
1/2 c Candied cherries; cut-up
2/3 c Flour
Powdered Sugar

Little Fruit Cakes Preparation

Blend shortening and sugar and beat in eggs. Stir in remaining ingredients. Spread mixture in a 9 pan and bake at 350
