Ingredients for Linguini with Red Clam Sauce Recipe

1 pk (8-oz) linguini
4 tb Olive oil
4 tb Butter
1 sm Onion; chopped
1 c Sliced fresh mushrooms
2 Cloves garlic; minced
1 c Clam juice (drained from
-clams)
1 cn (16-oz) tomato sauce
1/4 ts Oregano
2 cn (6.5-oz) clams; drained
2 tb Chopped fresh parsley

Saute onion and mushrooms until just tender. Add garlic, clam juice, tomato sauce and oregano. Simmer for 10 minutes. Add clams and parsley just before serving. Spoon sauce over linguini. Serves 4.
