1/2 c Shortening
1-1/2 c Sugar
3 Eggs
1 ts Soda
1 ts Baking powder
2 ts Nutmeg
2 c Flour
1 c Buttermilk
1/4 ts Salt

Lazy Daizy Cake Preparation

Cream shortening and sugar. Add egg yolks. Add flour and other ingredients. alternately with milk. Fold in last, beaten egg whites. Bake in a loaf pan.
