Ingredients for Lane Cake Filling Recipe

8 Egg yolks
1 c Sugar
1/2 c Butter or margarine
1 c Chopped pecans
1 c Raisins
1 c Flaked coconut
1/2 c Bourbon
1/2 c Sliced maraschino cherries

Lane Cake Filling Preparation

Combine egg yolks, sugar, and butter in a heavy saucepan. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until thickened (about 20 minutes). Remove from heat, and stir in remaining ingredients. Cool completely. Yield: 3 1/2 cups.
