Ingredients for Julienne of Carrots and Snow Peas Recipe
2 md Carrots, cut into
-matchstick julienne
1 oz Snow peas, cut into
-matchstick julienne
-Freshly ground pepper
3 c Water
1 ts Oriental sesame oil
1 tb Minced green onion
1 Garlic clove, minced
-Salt
Julienne of Carrots and Snow Peas Preparation
Bring water to simmer in medium saucepan. Add carrots and cook 4 minutes. Stir in peas and cook 2 minutes. Drain vegetables. Rinse under cold water; drain thoroughly. Heat oil in heavy medium skillet over medium-high heat. Add carrots, peas, onion and garlic and stir-fry 1 minute. Season with salt and pepper. Serve vegetables immediately. Jay Stevens, host
