1/2 c Cold water
1/3 c Corn sirup
1 c Chopped peanuts
1 ts Vanilla

Jim Crows Preparation

Grate chocolate. Add water, sugar, and sirup. Boil to soft ball stage (234 – 238 F). Remove from fire. Add peanuts and flavoring. Cool slightly. Beat until mixture begins to crystalize.
