2 c Corn meal
1 tb Flour
1/2 ts Soda
1 ts Baking powder
1 tb Sugar
3 tb Chopped onion
1 c Buttermilk
1 Egg; lightly beaten

Hushpuppies #05 Preparation

Mix all dry ingredients together. Add onion, buttermilk & egg. Drop by spoonfuls into deep fat. Fry to a golden brown. Drain. Usually served with fish & can be cooked in same fat.
