1/2 c Sifted flour
1 Onion, minced
1 Egg
1 ts Sugar
1 c Corn meal
1-1/2 ts Baking powder
1 ts Salt
Milk

Hush Puppies Preparation

Mix all ingredients with just enough milk to moisten dough to a stiff consistency, but soft enough to spoon. Dip with tbl. spoon and drop into hot fat. Cook until golden brown.
