Ingredients for Habibs Cole Slaw Recipe
1 lg Cabbage; shredded
2 sm Red onions; cut in rings
3/4 c Sugar
1 c Vinegar
1 ts Celery seed
1 ts Dry mustard
1 tb Sugar
1-1/2 ts Salt
1/2 c Salad oil
Habibs Cole Slaw Preparation
Mix first 3 ingredients & set aside. Mix well vinegar & celery seed. Mix in mustard, 1 tablespoon sugar & salt. Bring to a boil & add salad oil. Bring to a boil again. Pour over cabbage & onions at once. Let stand overnight. Refrigerate the next morning, mixing well. EDWARD W.
