Ingredients for Grasshopper Pie (From Arkansas) Recipe
1-1/2 c Crumbs from very large
-chocolate wafer cookies
1/4 c Melted butter
25 lg Marshmallows
2/3 c Heavy cream
3 -(up to)
5 tb Green Creme de Menthe
3 -(up to)
4 tb White Creme de Cacao
1 c Heavy cream; whipped
Grasshopper Pie (From Arkansas) Preparation
Reserve 2 tablespoons crumbs. Make pie crust out of remaining chocolate wafer crumbs and the melted butter. Chill crust. Combine marshmallows and 2/3 cup cream. Put over very low heat, stirring until marshmallows melt; cool. Fold in liqueurs and the whipped cream. Pour into chilled shell. Sprinkle reserved crumbs on top. Freeze until quite firm.
