2 c Granola with dates and
-raisins
1/2 c All-purpose flour
1/2 ts Baking powder
1/2 ts Baking soda
1 c Cinnamon Apple Sauce
1 ts Vanilla
1 Egg; beaten
1/2 c Sunflower nuts
1/2 c Coconut
Granola Apple Bars (Motts) Preparation
Heat oven to 350F. Grease 8 or 9-inch square pan. In large bowl, combine all ingredients; mix well. Pour into prepared pan. Bake at 350F for 25 to 35 minutes or until toothpick inserted center comes out clean. Cool. Cut into bars. Yields 20 bars. Notes: Pantry: Mott”s Cinnamon Apple Sauce. Introduce more fiber into your family”s diet with these wholesome bars.
