Ingredients for Grannys on the Grill Recipe

4 md Granny Smith apples;
-unpeeled, sliced
1/3 c Golden raisins
1 tb Canola oil; plus 1 teaspoon
1 tb Brown sugar; plus 1 teaspoon

Grannys on the Grill Preparation

Cut 4 8 inch pieces of aluminum foil. Prepare the apples and place each sliced apple on a square of foil. Sprinkle raisins, oil, and sugar over each apple. Fold the foil into a package. Prepare an outside grill with an oiled rack set 6 inches above the heat source. On a gas grill, set the heat to medium. Grill the packets for about 30 minutes until the apples are tender.
