Ingredients for German Rye Bread Recipe
1 tb Active dry yeast
1 tb Caraway seed
2-1/4 c Bread flour
1-1/2 ts Salt
2-1/2 ts Unsweetened cocoa
1-1/2 c Rye flour
1-1/4 c Warm water
1-1/2 tb Butter
2-1/2 tb Molasses
German Rye Bread Preparation
Place ingredients in bread machine in order recommended by the manufacturer of your machine. Use regular bread cycle. (I grind the caraway seeds before usingbecause I like the flavor but not the nasty little seeds.) (For Panasonic/National machines use 3 1/2 teaspoons of yeast).
