Ingredients for Fondant Recipe
1 lb Powdered sugar
1/4 c Cocoa
About 2 tbsp. butter
1/2 c Light corn syrup
1 ts Vanilla

From: joyce underwood <j.underwood@mailcity.com> This is a very good recipe that tastes like Tootsie Rolls. Actually, I’ve never eaten the recipe, so I really don’t know what it tastes like, but I do know that the candy tastes like Tootsie Rolls, and that’s what counts!!! Sift sugar and cocoa together, then set aside. Combine 1/2 of sugar mixture, butter, and corn syrup in a heavy saucepan. Cook over low heat til mixture comes to a full boil, stirring constantly Quickly stir in remaining sugar mixture and vanilla, then remove from heat. Stir only til mixture holds it’s shape. Pour into a buttered square pan. Cool just enough to handle. Knead til smooth, then roll into balls or logs. NOTE: If you want to, you can roll these in powdered sugar immediately after rolling.
