Ingredients for Custard Recipe

3 c Milk
3/4 c Sugar
6 Egg yolks
1 ts Cornstarch
1/4 c Brandy
1/2 ts Vanilla

Custard Preparation

Scald milk in heavy pan. Beat together sugar, yolks & cornstarch & stir into hot milk. Combine well then add brandy & vanilla. Cook over low heat or in double boiler, stirring constantly, until custard thickens. Allow to cool before using. File
