Ingredients for Creole Baked Fish Recipe

1 Med. onion, chopped
2 tb Shortening
2 c Cooked whole tomatoes
1 Bay leaf
2 lb Fish filet
1/4 c Bell pepper, chopped
2 tb Flour
1 ts Salt
1/8 ts Pepper
1 pk Frozen kernel corn OR>>>

Creole Baked Fish Preparation

Saute onion and green pepper in shortening until tender. Add flour and blend. Then add tomatoes, aslt, pepper, and bay leaf; brting to a boil. Cover and simmer 10 mi. Add corn and cook over low heat 10 min. longer, stirring occasionally. Remove bay leaf. Arrange fish in greased shallow baking dish.
