Ingredients for Crazy Crust Apple Pie Recipe
1 c Flour
1 cn (21 oz) apple pie filling
1 ts Baking powder
1 tb Lemon juice
1/2 ts Salt
1/2 ts Apple pie spice OR cinnamon
1 tb Sugar
1 Egg
3/4 c Water
2/3 c Solid shortening
Crazy Crust Apple Pie Preparation
In small bowl, combine flour, baking powder, salt, sugar, egg, shortening and water; blend well. Beat for 2 minutes at medium speed of mixer. Pour into 9 inch pie pan. Combine pie filling, lemon juice and spice. Pour into center of batter. DO NOT STIR. Bake at 425 degrees for 45 minutes. Mince or ;cherry pie filling may be substituted.
