Ingredients for Cowboy Pudding Recipe
1-1/2 c Brown sugar
1-1/2 c Hot water
1 c Flour
1 ts Baking powder
1/4 ts Salt
1/4 c Sugar
1/2 c Milk
1/4 c Melted margarine
1/2 ts Vanilla
1/2 c Sliced dates
1/4 c Chopped nuts
Cowboy Pudding Preparation

Combine dry ingredients, gradually add melted butter and milk to make smooth batter. Add Vanilla, dates and nuts. Drop batter from spoon into hot syrup. Bake at 375F for about forty minutes.
