Ingredients for Cornmeal Butter Sticks Recipe

1/2 Stick margarine or butter
1/2 c Bisquick original baking mix
1/2 c Cornmeal
1/4 c Water
Salt

Cornmeal Butter Sticks Preparation

HEAT oven to 450 degrees. Heat margarine in square pan, 9x9x2-inches, in oven until melted. Mix baking mix, cornmeal and water with fork until soft doughforms. TURN onto surface dusted with baking mix; gently roll in baking mix to coat. Smooth dough into ball; knead 5 times. Roll into rectangle, 6×4 inches. Cut into 8 strips, 4×3/4-inch. DIP each strip into melted margarine, coating all sides; arrange in pan. Sprinkle salt lightly on strips. Bake 12 to 15 minutes or until golden brown. Serve hot. 8 sticks.
