Ingredients for Chocolate Nut Cookies Recipe
1 c Butter or margarine;
-softened
3/4 c Packed brown sugar
1/2 c Sugar
1 Egg
1 ts Almond extract
2 c All-purpose flour
1/4 c Baking cocoa
1 ts Baking soda
1/2 ts Salt
1 c Vanilla baking chips; 6
-ounces
1 c Chopped almonds
Chocolate Nut Cookies Preparation
In a mixing bowl, cream butter and sugars. Add egg and extract; mix well. Combine the flour, cocoa, baking soda and salt; add to creamed mixture and mix well. Stir in the chips and nuts. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto ungreased baking sheets. Bake at 375 degrees for 7-9 minutes. Cool on pans for 1 minute before removing to wire racks; cool completely. Yield: about 5 dozen.
