Ingredients for Chocolate Dipped Strawberries 2 Recipe
2 pt Strawberries & stems (36-48)
1/2 c Semi-sweet chocolate chips
1-1/2 tb Butter
1 tb Corn syrup
1 tb Amaretto (or Rum; other –
-optional)

From: the letter C is not nesessary <DDAWSON@HOP.QGRAPH.COM> Date: Mon, 8 Jul 1996 10:21:26 -0500 Wash berries, pat dry. Place on paper towels until room temperature. In a double boiler or sauce pan over hot watter – combine chips, butter, corn syrup, and Amaretto. Heat until chips melt stirring occasionally. Turn off heat. Hold chocolate mixture over lukewarm water (100F-115F) for dipping. Dip strawberries until 2/3 coated. Chill on wax paper 15 minutes. Best when eated within 3-4 hours. Note: This is the recipe as printed on my recipe card. I often melt the chips, etc in the microwave. Also, the berries come off the wax paper better if you use some lite cooking spray.
