Ingredients for Chewy Candy Crunch Bars Recipe
4 c Bite sized crispy corn
-cereal squares
1/2 c Butter
1 c Firmly packed brown sugar
1 c Salted peanuts
1/2 c Light corn syrup
2 tb All purpose flour
1 pk (8oz) candy coated milk
-chocolate pieces
Chewy Candy Crunch Bars Preparation
This is a recipe I make every Christmas. Not because they are Christmasy, just because that’s the only time I ever bake <g> It’s from the Land O Lakes Cookie book. In large bowl, combine cereal, peanuts and candies; set aside. In 2 quart saucepan, melt butter (2-4 minutes). Stir in all remaining ingredients. Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until mixture comes to a full boil (2-4 minutes). Boil 1 minute. Pour caramel mixture over cereal mixture; toss to coat well.
