Ingredients for Cherry Pecan Logs Recipe
2 tb Evaporated Milk; or more as
-needed
1/2 ts Rum Extract
2-1/2 c Confectioner s Sugar
Cherry Pecan Logs Preparation
Combine milk and rum flavoring in mixing bowl. Add sugar and knead in cherries until smooth and shiny. Shape in 6 inch logs, roll in wax paper and chill. Combine caramels (1/2 lb.) and 3 tbs. evaporated milk. Heat over boiling water until melted, stirring often. Turn in pie pan. Roll logs in caramel mixture then in pecans. Roll in wax paper and chill.
