Ingredients for Butternut Squash Puree 2 Recipe

2 md Butternut squashes, peeled,
-seeded, and cut into pieces
-about 2 inches
Salt
Butter, optional
Honey, optional

Butternut Squash Puree 2 Preparation

Steam butternut squash above boiling water, covered, until tender, about 12 minutes. Puree. Salt lightly. If squash is just right you won’t need to add anything else, but sometimes a small bit of butter and honey are needed. Serve hot.
