Ingredients for Butter Chews Recipe

3/4 c Butter
3 tb Granulated sugar
1-1/2 c Flour
3 Egg yolks
2-1/4 c Brown sugar
1 c Nuts; chopped
3/4 c Shredded coconut
3 Egg whites; beaten until
-stiff

Butter Chews Preparation

Cream butter and granulated sugar. Blend in flour. Pat this mixture into a cake tin. Bake at 375 F. until light brown. Beat egg yolks slightly and add brown sugar, beating well.
