Ingredients for Broiled Tunawiches Recipe
1 cn (6-1/8 oz) water-pack tuna;
-drained
1/4 c Finely chopped onion
1/4 c Mayonnaise or salad dressing
2 tb Chopped seeded cucumber
1/4 ts Dried dill weed
2 English muffins; split,
-toasted
4 sl Tomato
4 sl Cheddar cheese; 1-oz each
Broiled Tunawiches Preparation
In medium bowl, combine tuna, onion, mayonnaise, cucumber and dill; mix well. Spread each muffin half with 1/4 of mixture; top with tomato slice. Place on broiler pan or ungreased cookie sheet. Broil 4-6 inches from heat for 4-5 minutes or until tomato is hot. Top each with cheese slice. Broil for an additional 1-2 minutes or until cheese melts.
