Ingredients for Bess Ferguson s Apple Muffins Recipe
1/4 c Shortening
1/2 c Sugar
1 Egg
1/4 ts Vanilla
1-1/4 c Sifted all purpose flour
3 ts Baking powder
1/2 ts Salt
1/4 ts Cinnamon
1/2 c Milk
1 c Chopped apple; or more
Bess Ferguson s Apple Muffins Preparation
Cream shortening, sugar, egg and vanilla until light and fluffy. Shift flour, baking powder, salt and cinnamon together. Add to butter mixture with milk. Beat until smooth.
