Ingredients for Banana Waffles 2 Recipe

2 c All-purpose flour
3 ts Baking powder
2 tb Sugar
3/4 ts Salt
3 Eggs
1-1/2 c Milk
3 tb Shortening
1 c Mashed very ripe bananas.
-About 3 large or 4 small.

Banana Waffles 2 Preparation

Sift flour, measure and resift 3 times with remaining dry ingredients. Beat eggs, add milk and shortening. Pour into dry ingredients, add bananas and beat all together until smooth. Using 1/2 cup of batter for each waffle, bake in a hot waffle iron until golden brown. Serve immediately with hot syrup. Makes six 7-inch waffles.
