Ingredients for Banana Cake #1 Recipe

1/2 c Butter or margarine
1 c Sugar
2 Eggs
1 c Mashed ripe bananas
1-1/4 c Flour
3/4 ts Soda
1/2 ts Salt
1 ts Vanilla
1 c Chopped nuts
Whipped cream or whipped
-topping

Banana Cake #1 Preparation

Cream shortening & add sugar. Add eggs, beating well after each. Stir in bananas. Add dry ingredients & then nuts. Pour into greased & floured 8x8x2-inch pan. Bake at 350 for 25-30 minutes.
