Ingredients for Baked Rockfish with Ginger-Lime Sauce Recipe

1-1/3 lb Rockfish fillets
1/4 ts Salt
Freshly ground black pepper
-to taste
1-1/2 tb Butter or margarine
1 tb Finely grated fresh ginger
2 tb Lime juice
2 tb Ketchup
Baked Rockfish with Ginger-Lime Sauce Preparation
Place the fish fillets on a rack set in a pan (or use a broiling pan), and sprinkle with salt and pepper. Bake in a preheated 450-degree oven 12 minutes per inch of thickness. Test for doneness. While the fish is cooking melt the margarine in a small saucepan. Add the ginger, lime juice and ketchup. Stir until blended and hot. Spoon the sauce over the fish and serve.
